Good Lord. I can't believe I haven't posted since December...

How is that? I know! I was busy doing a hundred stories!

*sighs*

Not literally, but it was a bunch. As I look back on my last post, I talked about the success with Breakable Faith for Michael Mandrake, doing the follow-up, and his book Taken and Crowned. I also talk about BL's book Nerds Like Us.

Well, all 3 were successful. Taken didn't have as many sales, but it did well in Kindle Unlimited. My follow-up to Breakable didn't do as great, but still good by my standards.

Enter the new year.

Hello 2019!

I started with a re-release for SMOKE which wasn't the big hit as I had hoped. However, I was still getting sales from Breakable so I didn't worry. February came and I was ready for vacation. I went to New Orleans for three weeks, saw Duran Duran, and didn't want to return.

Writing wise, Renewed Faith, Breakable's follow-up was released. I finished Michael's sexually charged thriller Love Kills for another collaboration I joined, and then burnout officially took hold Feb going into March. Even when I got back, I didn't feel like writing as much. The Love Kills book actually ruined me. The scenes were dark and intense and it drained me mentally.

In all honestly, I am just now getting back into writing. Other than edits on my next release, The Resignation, which is a vampire story I wrote for an anthology, I haven't done much writing at all. 

As we speak, I'm doing a short freebie for my newsletter for the characters in Nerds Like Us. Then, I'll shift gears and re-write Sex Type Thing, do the follow-up to Nerds called Fools Like Us, and an MF for Veronica entitled Purple Haze. I'm also finishing Bend because I dropped it while working on Love Kills. 

Once I'm done with one, I plan on starting Death's Angel, by Michael Mandrake. Then onto the next books in the Vale Vale collab, then another MF.

Long list! And in looking at the rest of the year, sleeping seems near to impossible unless I start writing faster. *laughs*
