Quick Writing Update! August is GONE!

August is GONE! September coming...

No, no, don't get it twisted. I'm NOT an anti masker. Actually, if you ask my family and BFF they'd say I'm paranoid about wearing a mask, but seeing Seonghwa's pretty face symbolizes me wanting this damn COVID mess to be over. I mean, who doesn't other than the hospitals, huh?

No, no, I shouldn't say that either. They want it over too because they're being overworked by this virus so thank you to all of them. But this is not the reason for my post. It's supposed to be an update as well as showing who my new obsession is. 

Maybe I'll do a separate blog for him and keep this to writing. Yes that's it. It is the most important thing, right? You follow me to find out what I'm doing writing wise, not the men I wish would be part of my make  believe harem. Shhh... don't tell my husband.

Anyway, again, back to the important things. Admittedly, I haven't recovered from my malaise. I did enough to finish Clutch, but I took over 2 weeks off before I started the rockstar book. Now for those following me, I'm sure you're asking why I'm beginning the rockstar when I should be starting the Deadly Sins book 3. Well, the answer is, I'm afraid about not making deadline. Since my focus is off... (thank you KPOP and Seonghwa) I started the rockstar project first to make sure its done in plenty of time before release day. Besides that, the emotion of all of whats going on is pouring into my Blaxican character so this will be more emotional than my other BL books. Naturally with all this emotion and drama, I need more time to process, so there you go. It's the only thing I'm working on now, but if I get into a good groove, I might  start Bound by Blood. I'd love to begin ASAP, but the goal is to get this almost done before I do. Wish me luck on that. 

Other than writing, nothing else is going on with me personally. School will begin remotely, which eased my fears. Cases are still up and it seems this crap is making another go round since they're having issues in South Korea. Numbers haven't really slowed here in the US and actually they're up here in Chicago which is pretty disheartening.My BFF and I are mourning concerts and traveling right now. Ugh. This is the hardest thing about COVID is not being able to do what you love! 

Also, the US is still topsy turvy with more police brutality and discrimination. The news can fill you in. Add to it, Chadwick Boseman dying yesterday. Man, this has been a rough year. Hopefully we'll have good news come November. Getting you know who out of office will salvage 2020. 

Please guys, if you haven't registered please do. We need all the votes we can get for this ass to get out of office. We need to take this country back and the only way we get some semblance of normalcy is to vote his ass out. Please don't let this be a 2016 repeat. If you truly care about America and humanity, you'll vote in November! PLEASE!

That's my political message for the day as well as the end of this blog. Wish me luck on getting this book done in a timely fashion. I need it!
