Yes it is! DAMMIT!

With the "plague haze" going around it's easy to forget what's happening. Add the election, the natural disasters, and whatever else that's going on, and it's no surprise how you'd feel like you're exhausted.

That's the reason for that GIF by the way. Other than he is absolutely scrumptious!

I digress!

Anyway, he's not the reason why I'm posting today. I'm posting because I wanted to give an update on my progress.

First. if you've been following me, you'd know I'd usually be doing NANOWRIMO right now. However, for the first time in the last seven years, I did not sign up. I'll get to that in another post.

Let's keep this to what's going on with me

According to my last post, I'd just started Bad Blood, which is my rockstar book. Thankfully, I finished it, but with only a couple of days to spare. Me and my betas worked hard on getting it done, then I worked my editor's nerves, before finally getting it released. It did well in pre-order, and it's getting reads, but it's a little slow out the gate sales wise. Hopefully ads, and the other promo I'm doing will help.

Bound by Blood. Unfortunately, that book won't be done this year. My anxieties aren't in the right place to begin this project, so I've put it off for now. I hope once we turn over the new year with our new administration (THANK YOU GOD) we can rest a little easier. The plague isn't leaving anytime soon, but hopefully the vaccine and the new team coming in will get this virus under control.

Back to the book. I hope that I'll be able to revisit Archer's wicked mind again soon, but my heart isn't in it. There is already too much sorrow in the world, so I truly don't see me going that level of dark for a while.

Right now, I've got another book on the docket called Love at First Clinch.

This is a follow-up to Clutch and Crush, with my characters kids from the first two books getting together. It will be a musician falls for fan book. A story where previous friends give each other a chance at love. It's gonna be sappy, with a twinge of horror, because, well, it's Michael, but for the most part it'll be a lot of fun. It'll be about KPOP too, so there. lol The approach I'm taking in writing at this moment is to not force it, and write about what has your attention right now. I love writing about musicians, esp rockstars and KPOP peeps, so that's what I'll focus on. I did mention vampires too, but we'll see if I can get back to that story.

Right now I'm just taking writing one day at a time as I'm taking life. I can only control what's in front of me, and I'm praying that we'll all get through this okay. Things are tumultuous but we're coping and that's all we can do.
